Chestnut House provides comfortable accommodation and offers short breaks, convalescence and long-term care for up to 19 residents of retirement age and above.
We focus on providing a safe, homely environment where each resident is treated as an individual, with their social, spiritual, cultural, emotional and physical needs being assessed and met by a competent and well-trained care team.

Chestnut House offers attractive, comfortable bedrooms for up to 19 people in large single rooms, many with en-suite facilities and all with a call bell system and TV point.
Care
Chestnut House offers care which is carefully tailored to each resident’s specific needs. Whether it’s for a short break, convalescence stay or long-term care, each resident is treated with care and respect.

We are always looking for dedicated, caring people who are looking for employment caring for the elderly. We are currently looking for carers located in the Crumpsall area of Manchester.

Visit Us
You and your family are welcome to visit the care home before you make any decision. Once we receive your interest, our Manager will carry out an assessment to make sure that Chestnut House can provide for all your needs.
When you arrive, we will allocate you a named carer to help you settle in. Your carer will get to know you, your interests and your needs, so we can ensure we are meeting them.
Each resident has a personalised care plan setting out the services and medical treatments they might require. Your care plan is regularly reviewed, and we welcome any feedback you may wish to give.
We are happy for you to bring personal belongings into the care home for your room, such as photographs and ornaments, or even furniture.
Visitors are always welcome at any time. Refreshments are freely available to visitors. You are able to go out with or visit family and friends whenever you like, so long as we know you are safe.
